Marjorie Myers King, 79 years of Peebles, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Adams County Manor.

She was born in Peebles, Ohio on May 9, 1930 the daughter of the late Alva and Cora Hayslip Myers.

Marjorie was a member of the Burns Chapel Church.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Byron ?Gude? King, who passed away on February 26, 1985, one son; Larry Boldman, two brothers; Glenn and Don Myers, and one sister; Lola Woods.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Bob and Joyce King of Peebles, daughter and son-in-law Beverly and Butch Kitts of McDermott, daughter Pam King of Piketon, one sister; Ruby Miller of Peebles, sister-in-law Ruth Boldman nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
