Marjorie E. McCane, 75 years of Peebles, died Monday, February 28, 2005 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born in Lansing, Michigan on July 9, 1929 the daughter of the late James and Dora Armstrong Evans.
She was a member of the Scrub Ridge United Brethren Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arvid McCane, brother, James Evans, and sisters, Allene Schuwert, and Millie Ritchie.
She is survived by her son, Jim Setty of West Union, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Vernon Shiveley officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
