Marjorie Jean Reed

Marjorie Jean Reed, 93 years of Hillsboro, gained her angel wings and went to her heavenly home to be with the lord Wednesday morning, November 3, 2021.

Marjorie was born April 21, 1928 to Erby and Mary (Steffy) Powell. She was the only living daughter of eleven children.

She was the loving wife of the late Rev. John T. Reed whom preceded her in death on April 7, 2013.

Marjorie and John were married on June 4, 1948. There marriage was blessed by five loving children; four daughters, Lois Marilyn Powell, Leona Grace (Mark) Huddleston, Mary Owenna Reed, Rebecca Rose (Mike) Larsen and son, Tommy Reed who preceded them in death; nine grandchildren, Gregory (Annette) Powell, Jerry Powell, Jonda (Terry) Neal, Valynn Smith, Valerie (Ronnie) Mosby, Justin (Cierra) Moore, Antiny Moore, Charity Burke, Hope (John) Zavatchen; eight great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Severalnieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friend.

Marjorie loved to write. Her dream came true at the age of 85 when she completed her book "My Encounters with Angels and other Memoirs".

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Hillsboro Church of God, 5762 U.S. 62, Hillsboro, OH. where friends may call Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Pastor Joyn Coyle and Kim Zornes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring.
