Marjorie Chestnut Yankie, 51 years of Peebles, died Thursday, February 17, 2005 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born on April 20, 1953 the daughter of Cecil and Geraldine Clark Chestnut.
She was a nurses aid at Highland District Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine.
She is survived by her father and step mother, Cecil and Sherry Chestnut of Cincinnati, sons and daughters-in-law, Steve Chestnut of Peebles, Richard and Annette Murphy of Peebles, Jimmy and Rhonda Courtney of Dayton, daughter, Kelly Courtney of Peebles, fifteen grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 21, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Chestnut Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 9:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
