Mark Johnson, 63 years of Peebles, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on October 13, 1946 the son of the late Harlan and Wilma McFarland Johnson.
Mark was a member of the Peebles First Church of God, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, a member of the Seaman American Legion Post #633, the Adams County Republican Club, and a Meigs Township Fiscal Officer.
He is survived by his wife; Betty Miranda Johnson of Peebles, one son and daughter-in-law; Brian and Amy Johnson of Cincinnati, two brothers; Ronnie Johnson of Columbus and Jeff Johnson of Peebles, one sister; Imogene Ryan of Peebles, and two grandchildren; Aaron and Laura.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Peebles First Church of God with Harold Keaton officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at Peebles First Church of God.
Memorials may be made to Peebles First Church of God. The Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
