Mark Ryan

Mark Ryan, 91 years of Peebles, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on March 27, 1917 the son of the late George and Mary Robinson Ryan.
Mark was a member of the Peebles Missionary Evangelical Church of Christ, the Peebles Lions Club, Kentucky Colonel, Hillsboro Order of Eastern Star Chapter # 441, and the Peebles Masonic Lodge # 581.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Edith Smalley Ryan, who passed away on September 29, 2005, four brothers; Frank, Paul, Lester, and Herman Ryan, and three sisters; Naomi Shoemaker, Opal Matlock, and Hortense Seaman.
He is survived by his son Bill Ryan of Peebles, two daughters and sons-in-law; Sharon and Bob Malcom of Peebles and Becky Jo and Frank Hedges of Hillsboro, six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles Missionary Evangelical Church of Christ with Bill Ryan and Frank Hedges officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
