Marlyn Ruth Hull Caplinger, 90 years of Peebles, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on February 22, 1919 the daughter of the late Noble and Lulu Brewer Hull.
Marlyn was a longtime member of the Peebles Church of Christ.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lee Caplinger, who passed away on September 13, 2004, one brother, and three sisters.
She is survived by her adopted daughter and son-in-law Becky and Bill Christman of Peebles, two adopted grandchildren; Jarrod and Jenny Christman and Andrew and Alissa Christman, two adopted great grandchildren; Maxwell and Grayson Christman, special niece Mary Herdman of Xenia, two nephews; Barry Moore of Decatur and Darryl Hinton of Colorado, three nieces; Bobbi Moore of Cincinnati, Marlene Jones of Colorado, and Bonnie Hollensee of Oklahoma, cousins Paul and Grace Baker, and her church family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ with Bill Christman and Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Brush Creek Baptist Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ. The Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Peebles Church of Christ, 6050 Steam Furnace Road Peebles, Ohio 45660 or Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd. Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
