Marshall W. Ward, 89 years of Rarden, died Friday, November 22, 2002 at his residence.
He was born in Scioto County on December 25, 1912 the son of Charlie and Essie Smith Ward.
He was a member of the Rarden Baptist Church, owned and operated Wards Garage in Rarden for 34 years and drove a School bus for 29 years for the Rarden School System.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dora Workman Ward on January 9, 1998.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Sharon Ward of Rarden, two granddaughters, Rebecca and Kimberly, two great grandchildren and one brother, Chester Ward of McDermott.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Peebles, Ohio with Harold Davis and Berlin Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 till 6:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
