Martha V. Chambers, 83 years of Seaman, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the home of her daughter.
Martha was born November 1, 1926 in Highland County, OH., the daughter of the late Floyd E. and Alta Roberds White. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James D. Chamber on November 12, 2009.
Martha was a member of the Northside Church of Christ, a graduate of Belfast High School, served as a 4H advisor and was a farmwife.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Robert Jones of Hillsboro, OH., Edith and Gary Heaton of Hillsboro, OH., five grandchildren, Teresa Layne Garringer of Jamestown, OH., Colleen John Barney of Hillsboro, OH., Shannon Heaton of Hillsboro, OH., Andrew Kim Heaton of Hilliard, OH., Timothy Amanda Heaton of Lexington, KY., 8 Great Grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy Ramsey of Chesterfield, MO.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, OH.
Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
