Martha E. Fawley, 83 years of Lynchburg, died Sunday, February 23, 2003 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born in Highland County, Ohio on January 23, 1920 the daughter of the late Guy and Ruth Smith Custer.
She was a member of the Hollowtown Church of Christ, was pianist there for fifteen years, and was in the traveling choir.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Laverne Fawley, who passed away in 1984, one son, Laverne Fawley, Jr., and one brother.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Randy and Sheila Fawley of Lynchburg, Gary Fawley of Hillsboro, daughters and son-in-law, Kay Cochran of Columbus, Fay and Edward Waits of Hillsboro, eleven grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph E. and Betty Roush, Jr. of Hillsboro, and sister-in-law, Mary Fawley of Lynchburg.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at 12:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Leo Kuhn officiating. Burial will follow in the Barker Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 10:00 till 12:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
