Martha Schweickart, 72 years of Winchester, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at her residence.
She was born in Winchester, Ohio on February 22, 1939 the daughter of the late Therian and Rosa Lee Black Jandes.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother; James Jandes, one sister-in-law; Linda McNoun, and one nephew; Jamie Fenton.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years; Russell Schweickart of Winchester, one son and daughter-in-law; Robert and Julie Schweickart of Seaman, one daughter; Venita Jandes of Winchester, five sisters; Nancy Fenton of Winchester, Janet Jandes Stamper of Lebannon, Ohio, Pam and Henry Sawyers of Sardinia, Veronica Gelter of Russellville, and Debbie Jandes of Winchester, two grandchildren; Joshua and Chandra Schweickart and Justin and Bryana Schweickart, four great grandchildren; Hayden, Brody, Breestin, and Bentley, brother-in-law Eddie and Molly McNoun of Winchester, and sister-in-law Carol and Bill Collett of Russellville.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester with Rev. Bill Collett officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester.
Memorials may be made to Wayne Township Life Squad.
