Marty Gordley, 62 years of Peebles, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 19, 1946 the son of the late Damon and Lorraine Potts Gordley.
Marty was a member of the Peebles American Legion Post #594.
He is survived by his wife Eugenia Grooms Gordley of Peebles, whom he married on September 10, 1977, son Yancy Gordley of Peebles, son and daughter-in-law Alan and Tina Gordley of Peebles, daughter and son-in-law Mona and Mike Johnson of Peebles, brother Gene Lorenzo of Peebles, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tranquility Community Church with Troy Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in Tranquility Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
