Marvin Pete Maxwell

Marvin Pete Maxwell, 82 years of Seaman, died Sunday, February 29, 2004 at his residence.

He was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on February 28, 1922 the son of the late Robert and Ethel Edgington Maxwell.

He was a member of the Mt. Calvary Church. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of World War II.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Maxwell, who passed away in 1998.

He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Donald Schroeder of Winchester, Betty Stanley Ruckel of Springfield, Ohio, close friend, Wilma Cook of Seaman, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Jerry Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
