Mary L. Arnold, 81years of Hillsboro OH, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Highland District Hospital.
She was born in Letitia, KY. Oh on December 17, 1927 the daughter of the late Howard and Martha Johnson Adkins. She was a graduate of the former Ottway High School and involved in various Church Organizations.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil H. Arnold, three brothers; Madison Adkins, Millard Adkins & Chester Adkins, also one sister; Betty Hotopp.
She is survived by one son, Marty Lee Cindy Arnold of Cincinnati, one daughter, Cristi Jesse Arnold-Brownlee of Hillsboro, two sisters, Loretta Benner of Lucasville & Jenn Smith of Lucasville, five grand children, Jeremy Lee Arnold, Alicia Arnold, Ashley Arnold, Alex Hale & Jesse Lee Penix, and four Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Heartland, 35 Bierly Rd. Suite 2, Portsmouth, OH. 45662.
