Mary Beatty, 90 years of Athens, Alabama formerly of Hillsboro died Saturday, September 1, 2007 at her residence.
She was born in Clinton County, Ohio on July 24, 1917 the daughter of the late Hugh and Bessie Redfern Bevan.
She was a lifetime member of the Springfield Friends Meeting.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death her husband, Absalom F. ?Ab? Beatty on March 28, 1984 and one brother Harlan Bevan.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Joyce Beatty of Athens, Alabama, one sister Anora Young of Hillsboro, one granddaughter Laura William Reinhardt of Athens, Alabama, three great grandchildren, Joshua Fielder, John Reinhardt, Patty
Reinhardt and two great great grandchildren, Meryt Fielder and Cohen Fielder.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home with James Zuehlke officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
