Mary Oppy Buchholz

Mary Oppy Buchholz, 89 years of Palm Bay, Florida, formerly of Hillsboro, died Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Forida.
She was born in Highland County, Ohio on July 12, 1920 the daughter of the late Sherman and Ethel Stultz Holt.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur H. Oppy on December 18, 1963, one son Earl Andrew Oppy, one daughter Mildred Oppy, three grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two sisters and four brothers.
She had retired from Robertshaw Controls in Hillsboro.
She is survived by two daughters, Violet Niblick of Palm Bay, Fl, Betty Jim Jacobs of Centerville, five sons, Jasper Doris Oppy of Hillsboro, Bill Mary Oppy of Wilmington, Wayne Lavina Oppy of Hillsboro, Kenny Irene Oppy of West Milton, Arthur Carroll Karen Oppy of Rittman, one step son, William Phyllis Buchholz, Jr of Palm Bay, Fl, thirty two grandchildren, forty one great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Wiley Perkins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hightop Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday evening from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
