Mary P. Burris

Mary P. Burris, 92 years of Winchester, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Meadow Wood Care Center in Georgetown.
She was born in Highland County, Ohio on April 1, 1915 the daughter of the late O.C. and Myrta Pollit Hook.
She was a member of the Winchester Presbyterian Church and the Winchester American Legion Auxiliary.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanne Tumbleson, two brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Everett Burris, daughter and son-in-law Elaine and Barry Prater of Cherry Fork, two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Winchester Cemetery with Norine Behm officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Homes, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester.
