Mary Lois Butler

Mary Lois Butler, 94 years of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015.
She was born February 27, 1921 in Greene County, OH., the daughter of the late Russell and Laura (Chaplin) Murray. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ewell Thomas Butler on August 19, 1982, two grandchildren, two brothers Russell and Miles Murray, two sisters Esther Storer and Barbara Leslie.
Mary Lois was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ, a graduate of the Leesburg High School and was a cook for the Wooden Spoon and Fireside Restaurants.
She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law Patricia Fittro, Beverly and Bob Leonard, Sharon and Raymond Barnes, Elizabeth Ann and Bob Hayslip all of Hillsboro; two sons and daughters-in-law Dennis and Dorcas Butler, Tim and Anna Jean Butler both of Hillsboro; 16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; two sisters Eunice Hawkins of Mowrystown and Noel Ann Moore of Wilmington; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Danny Dodds will officiate with burial to follow in the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until 2;) P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Family requests memorials to the donor's favorite charity.
