Susie Copas, age 75 of Winchester, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on June 10, 1938 the daughter of the late Harrison and Nellie Coldiron Harper.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Copas who passed away on September 6, 2009; five brothers, Kenneth, Bob, Jack, Jim, and Bill Harper; three sisters, Alberta Nelson, Mildred Allen, and Leona Lamb; and one great grandson, Luke Copas.
Susie attended Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union.
She is survived by two sons, Jeff Copas of Winchester and Tim Joyce Copas of Winchester; two daughters, Sherry Randy Young of Winchester and Lisa Brad McFarland of West Union; one brother, Stan Harper of Winchester; two sisters, Betty Sautter of Winchester and Lucille Hutter of Versailles, Indiana; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at the Winchester Church of Christ in Christian Union with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 till 4:00 P.M. at the church.
Memorials may be made to Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Homes, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester is in charge of the arrangements.
