Mary F. Davidson, 87 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, November 30, 2009 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born August 8, 1922 in Brown County, Ohio, the daughter of the late A. Hugh and Nell Marshall Evans. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul A. Davidson on May 3, 2001, son-in-law Gary Harris on December 20, 2007, grandson Bobby Martin on October 17, 2003 and a brother Charles Evans.
Mary was a member of the Russellville Church of Christ, Daughters of America and former Grange member. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Vicki Harris of Hillsboro, OH., Paulette and Larry Martin of Hillsboro, OH.; 4 grandchildren, Lori Newman of Hillsboro, OH., Katie Clint Wharton of Hillsboro, OH., Paul Sheri Martin of Kosovo, Sabrina Mercer of Hillsboro, OH., 2 step grandchildren, Jason Michelle Harris of Mt. Orab, OH., Lora Greg Ferguson of Hillsboro, OH., 5 great grandchildren, Amie Griffith, Ashley Jenkins, Taylor Ball, Tia Martin, Paul Jenkins.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, OH.
Dr. Chuck Shonkwiler will officiate with burial to follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
