Mary Margaret Duke, 88 years formerly of the Danville Community, died Sunday, May 4, 2008 in Bradenton, Florida.
She was born in Pricetown, Ohio on December 26, 1919 the daughter of the late Halder and Ethel Prine Gossett.
She was a member of the Danville Church of Christ, Charter Member Peach Twig, Quilt Club, and a former Pink Lady.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Jake" Duke, and two brothers, Hugh Gossett and Paul Gossett.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Ethel and David Frazier of Mt. Orab, Jean and Roger Watkins of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Cathy Ralph Warner of Lynchburg, Daniel Frazier of Cincinnati, Jeff Sarah Frazier of Wellston, one great granddaughter, Stormie Frazier of Wellston, two sisters, Velma Layman of Ocala, Florida, Viola Leininger of Danville, one brother, Roger Gossett of East Danville, two sisters-in-law, Ella Baker of Sugartree Ridge, Anna Jett of Greenfield, one aunt, Virgie Lee McLaughlin, and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Everett Brewer officiating.
Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 till 1:30 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Inurnment of cremains was in Hamer Township Cemetery.
