Mary Bernice Emery, 89 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at her residence.
She was born in Highland County, Ohio on March 1, 1915 the daughter of the late Charles B. and Mary B. Walker Cox.
She retired from Highland District Hospital and was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Wesley Emery, who passed away on June 6, 2001, and two brothers, Roy and Donald Cox.
She is survived by her son, John Patsy Emery of Hillsboro, daughters, Romona Emery of Hillsboro, Barbara Phil Siders of Clarksville, sister, Martha Raymond Phillips of Hillsboro, six grandchildren, Dawn Mark Edenfield of Hillsboro, Heath Melissa Emery of Hillsboro, Sean Keltah Siders of Lancaster, Shane Siders of Clarksville, Travis Jenny Siders of Waynesville, Trevor Jenni Siders of Circleville, and nine great grandchildren, Heath and Grant Edenfield, Ethan and Lacee Emery, and Larryn, Kynan, Logyn, Emery, and Cara Siders.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Pastor Kenneth E. Woleab officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
