Mary E. Liz Fannin, age 81 of Winchester, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center.
She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on January 13, 1933 the daughter of the late John and Louisa Anderson Church.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ray, Bill, and Don Church.
Mary attended Winchester United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years Garvin Fannin of Winchester; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Kathy Fannin of West Union and Mark and Mary Fannin of Winchester; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Sam Coburn of Clayton, North Carolina; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, church family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Winchester United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Roberts and Rev. John Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in Barnes Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester.
