Mary Kathleen Griffith

Mary Kathleen Griffith, 85 years of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday June 21, 2016 at the Salyer Adult Group Home in Hillsboro, Ohio.
She was born in Highland County, OH on March 23, 1931, the daughter of the late Mack and Mary (Eakins) Scott. Besides her parents, she was preceded by three Brothers Kent, Keith and Ronald Scott.
Mary was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ where she served as the treasure of the Missionary Society and was an active member of the choir, and spent her time heavily involved in the churches ministry work. She was also the treasure of the Hillsboro Garden Club, and an awarded member of the Quilt Club.
Kathleen is survived by her Husband Ervin W. Griffith whom were married on February 4, 1952 as well as her two sons Mark (Young) Griffith of Hillsboro and Jeff (Ingrid) Griffith of McComb, OH, her brother Randy Scott of Samantha, two sisters Rita Faris of Washington Court House and Karlene Robison of Columbus. As well as four grand children Eden, Marah, Canaan and Desarai Griffith and one great-grandson Anderson Adams.
On behalf of Mary's wish, she is to be cremated and a service will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
