Mary L. Huffman, 83 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday April 21, 2013.
She was born at Bridges, Ohio on August 17, 1929 the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Opal Bailey Forte. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold E. Huffman on February 15, 2001; one brother Dick Bumgarner; two sisters, Doris Collingsworth and Becky Miller.
She was a member of the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union and had worked for 11 years at Kresges.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert "Bob" and Linda Huffman of Beaver Creek, Charles William "Bill" and Kathy Huffman of Kettering; one sister Margaret Ann Waddell of Leesburg; nine grandchildren, Robert Huffman Jr., Brad Michelle Huffman, Kristy Robert Davis, Michelle Tucker, Beth Jacob Whitaker, Sarah Seth Doebereiner, Jay Kristen Mahan, Tina Kidder, Karen Kendell Griffith; thirty great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union with Rev. Marlyn Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday evening from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
