Mary Ethel Huffman, 94 years of Peebles, Elmville Community died Monday, January 31, 2011 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home.
She was born in Highland County on May 26, 1916 the daughter of the late Starley Burnett and Addie Jane Roads Reno. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Huffman on January 26, 1991, one daughter Barbara Ann Huffman, two sisters, Winnie Brown, Ruth Stewart, two brothers, George Reno, Irvin Reno.
She was a member of the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union and Mary was a wonderful mom, grandma and mother in law.
She is survived by sons, Ronald Tempy Huffman of North Union, James Huffman of Florence, Mississippi, John Suzanne Huffman of Peebles, sisters, Chloe Burnett of Bainbridge, Dorothy Watson of Washington Court House, grandchildren, Amy Brian Swango, Jonathan Monica Huffman, Rachel David Sims, Allen Huffman, Pam Tony Newkirk, Jerry Joy Huffman, Gayle Mike Jennings, Angie Sam Tripp, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union with Rev. Marlyn Davis officiating Burial to follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday evening from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring
