Mary J. McClughen, 94 years of Seaman, died Sunday, November 23, 2003 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Home in West Union.
She was born in Winchester, Ohio on July 20, 1909 the daughter of the late Christopher and Eva Wasson McClughen.
She was a member of the Seaman United Presbyterian Church. She was a bookkeeper for the Mead Paper Company.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Bert, and Ralph McClughen.
She is survived by her brothers and sister-in-law, Glenn and Barbara McClughen of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Carey Junior McClughen of Seaman, sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Doug Koontz of Concord, North Carolina, Daisey and Bill Wilson of Cincinnati, Irene Best of Seaman, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Tim Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
