Mary Carolyn Montgomery, 67 years, of Latham, OH passed away on Wednesday December 14, 2016 in her home in Latham.
She was born in Wolfe County, KY on January 23, 1949 the daughter of the late Alton & Lola (Banks) Hammond. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter Marilyn Leeth, four brothers, Gary Hammond, Lonnie Hammond, Donald Hammond and Jim Hammond, and six sisters, Brenda Jones, Patricia Bainter, Jo Hammond, Pricilla Barnett, Christina Jenkins, and Ruby Wallace.
Mary is survived by her husband, Kenneth Montgomery of Latham; son, Darrin (LaDonna) Montgomery of Amelia; daughter, Sherry (John) Williamson of Peebles; brother, Mike Hammond of West Portsmouth; sisters, Marie Ernest of Xenia, Barbara Gumz of Florence, KY, Terri Pack of West Portsmouth, Jane Stamper of Springfield, grandchildren Ryan Williamson, Brittani Hilterbran, Kaine Leeth, Chasta Montgomery, Luke Ford, Tyler Montgomery, Matthew Hilterbran; and great-grandchildren, Joelan Williamson and Weston Leeth.
Services will be 2:00 PM on Monday December 19, 2016 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring, with a burial to follow at the Gardner Cemetery in Waverly.
Friends and Family may call from 10:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
