Mary Jane Parker, 86 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, June 21, 2001 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born at Peebles, OH in Adams County on September 23, 1915 the daughter of Hiram and Clara Thatcher Barney.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Oren Parker in 1995 and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul Parker of New Vienna, OH, Raymond and Wanda Parker of Paducah, KY, two daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred and Jim Cox of Piketon, OH, Pauline and Orva Gragg of Sinking Spring, OH, one sister, Ann Marie Pinnell of Columbus, Oh, ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Marlyn Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 noon till time of service at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union.
