Mary A. Post, 93 years of Miamisburg, formerly of Hillsboro, died Sunday, January 9, 2005 at the Hospice of Dayton.
She was born in Highland County, Ohio on April 26, 1911 the daughter of the late Clarence and Nellie Hiser.
She was very active in the Jeffersonville Garden Club and loved flowers. She was a member of the Jeffersonville Eastern Star.
She was united in marriage on July 24, 1930 to Edgar N. Post, who preceded her in death on June 19, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Byrl Reed.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Howard and Betty Post of Dayton, Hugh and Belinda Post of Dayton, Harold and Kathi Post of Albuquerque, New Mexico, five grandchildren, Rick Post, Tammy McCrabb, Cindy Butler, Brian Post, and Andrew Post, and five great grandchildren, Elisa Post, Ryan Butler, Ryan Post, Tyler Butler, and Hannah McCrabb.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at the convenience of the family at Hillsboro Cemetery with Rev. Janie Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 10:30 till 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
