Mary M. Slagle, 79 years of Seaman, died Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman.
She was born in Lucasville, Ohio on April 19, 1928 the daughter of the late John Wesley and Anna Maud Smith Slagle.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret and Violet Slagle Chaboude, and brother-in-law, Jesse Chaboude.
She is survived by her nephew, John and his wife, Vicky Basford Chaboude, niece, Sharon Chaboude and her husband, Paul Dunn of Amelia, Ohio, great nephews, Jeff and his wife, Stephanie Dunn, Mike and his wife, Shonda Dunn of Amelia, great great nephews, Andrew and Bradly Dunn , and great great niece, Katelynn Dunn of Amelia.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Marilyn Roades officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, Ohio Valley, Mt. Calvary Church, Seaman, Ohio, or the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Maysville, Kentucky.
