Mary Stern, age 84 of Seaman, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Adams County Manor.
She was born in Seaman, Ohio on February 8, 1930 the daughter of the late Claude and Lillis (Wadsworth) Brownlee.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Ralph Michael Stern; three brothers; one sister; and son-in-law, Roger (Willie) Young.
Mary attended Seaman United Presbyterian Church; was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Lucky Dozen Club.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph Stern of Seaman; daughter, Katrina Young of Seaman; brothers, Jack Brownlee of Columbus and Allen Brownlee of Dayton; sister, Jan Brownlee of Columbus; grandchildren, Autumn McCavit, Brady Young, and three others; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Rev. David Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Tranquility Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
