Mary G. White, 83 years of Seaman, died Sunday, May 27, 2007 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born in Seaman, Ohio on August 1, 1923 the daughter of the late Cirp and Josephine Conkle White.
She was a School Teacher at Seaman and Cherry Fork. She was a member of the Seaman United Presbyterian Church, former Board Member of the Seaman Public Library, and the Lucky Dozen Club.
Preceding her in death were four sisters, Margaret Hartman, Jean Volkmann, Catherine Glasgow, and Julia White, and four brothers, Willard White, Joseph Gordon White, Russell White, and James White.
Mary leaves to mourn one sister, Wilma White Williams of Greenville, Ohio, one brother, Larry White of Peoria, Illinois, and many nieces and nephews, and special nephews and nieces, Stephen and Annette Glasgow, Steve and Joyce Wilson, and Russell and Linda Glasgow.
She was like a grandmother to her sister Catherine?s great grandchildren and their visits always brought her great joy. They are Rylee Catherine and Brandyn Copas, Trenton and Cameron Glasgow McCann, Allen Paul Wilson, and Catherine Joy Saunders.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Nate Manzo officiating. Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
