Mary Elizabeth Kelley Wylie, 78 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at her residence.
She was born August 22, 1928 to Frank and Grace Main Kelley. On April 12, 1947, she was united in marriage to Howard C. Wylie and they were blessed with three loving and caring daughters. Mernita Crawford friend Frank Creech, Wahnita Bill Anderson, Patty John Chambers; 10 grandchildren, Rhonda Crawford, Mary Brad Carson, Danny Laura Fannin, Billy Heather Anderson, Susan David Rosselott, Karen Curtis Shoemaker, Missy Bobby Schurman and J.C. Chambers; 14 great grandchildren, Stevie, Tommi and Amber Fannin, Haden and Olivia Anderson, Skye and Maia Rosselott, Conner, Caden and Carson Shoemaker, Keeley, Dylan and Aubrey Schurman, Amelia Carson; several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Howard C. Wylie on October 15, 2006, her parents Frank and Grace Main Kelley, granddaughter Marcia Anderson, Grandson Bobby Anderson, son-in-law Ray Crawford, sister Pauline Anderson, brother Frank Kelley.
She was a very loving, devoted and caring Wife, Mother and Grandmother, and to her Great Grandchildren a wonderful Granny.
She was a member of the Belfast United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 29, 2006 at the Thompson Funeral Home. The Rev. Janie Shoemaker will officiate with burial to follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Saturday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
