Matthew David Baker, 16 years of Peebles, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2002 as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 10, 1986 the son of David and Sarah Barnhart Baker.
He was a junior at Peebles High School.
He is survived by his parents, David and Sarah Louise Baker of Peebles, paternal grandparents, Lester and Doris Baker of Peebles, and maternal grandfather, Dr. Clyde S. Barnhart, Sr. of Athens.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 26, 2002 at 3:00 P.M. at the Peebles High School with Gene Toole, Larry Anderson, Bill Christman, and Brian Ruckle officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
