Maurice Taylor, 92 years of Winchester, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Highland House.
He was born in Brown County, Ohio on September 21, 1917 the son of the late Samuel and Ella Mae Brumley Taylor.
Maurice was a longtime member of the Winchester Presbyterian Church.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Eva Louise Taylor, who passed away on February 23, 2005, one brother; Forrest T. Taylor, and two sisters; Ora Maude Taylor and Christine Gaskill.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Mark and Lois Taylor of Circleville, Ohio, two daughters and sons-in-law; Eva Norine and Charles Behm of Winchester and Alice and Ernie Soale of Lynchburg, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at the Winchester Presbyterian Church with Pastor Norine Behm officiating. Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 till 3:00 P.M. at the Winchester Presbyterian Church; the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Manchester Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 186 Manchester, Ohio or the Ohio Christian University, 1476 Lancaster Pike Circleville, Ohio 43113.
