Maxine Kochersperger, 81 years of Mowrystown, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at Otterbein Lebanon.
She was born in Bradford, Ohio on June 28, 1931 the daughter of the late Marvin and Mary Margaret Wion Smith, Sr.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Don Kochersperger, who passed away in 1996.
Maxine attended Fairfax United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Don and Greta Kochersperger of Middletown, two daughters; Bonnie Williams of Jacksonville, Florida and Mary Hess of Peebles, three brothers; Lowell Dean Smith of Covington, Ohio, Marvin Smith, Jr., of Bradford, Ohio, and Paul Edward Smith of Covington, Ohio, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Homes, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman and the funeral service at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Gettysburg Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Fairfax United Methodist Church.
