Maxine Purtee, 82 years of Peebles, passed away Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Peebles, Ohio on April 7, 1926 the daughter of the late William and Cora Boyd Eubanks.
She was a member of the Eastern Star Peebles Chapter #396.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Noah Purtee.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Roger and Janie Purtee of Peebles, daughters and sons-in-law Linda & Gary Fitzpatrick of Chipley, Florida, Brenda & David Wheeler of Seaman, and Carma and Frank Bays, brother Eddie Eubanks of Peebles, sister Nadine Bynum of New Carlisle, Ohio, thirteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
