Melvin C. Hedrick, 82 years of Peebles, died Thursday, October 20, 2005 at his residence.
He was born June 28, 1923 in Peebles, Ohio, the son of the late
George and Eva Storer Hedrick. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother.
Melvin was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ and retired from Haas Lumber Company after many years of service.
On June 28, 1950, he was united in marriage to Betty Scott Hedrick who survives. He is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Amy Hedrick of Peebles; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Joe Palmer
of West Union, Stephanie and Donnie Edgington of West Union, Susie and Steve McFarland of Peebles; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the Peebles Church of Christ. Jim Chandler will officiate with burial in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 6-8 PM at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles
