Merryle Lynne Lucas-Hixon

Merryle Lynne Lucas Hixon passed away on Monday December 13, 2021, after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 1, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Richard Shaw Sr. and Wanda (Moomaw) Robinson-Richmond. Her Soul, Spirit and heart will be forever mourned.

Lynne is preceded in death by her husband Doctor M. Glenn Lucas, father Richard Shaw Sr., mother Wanda Robinson-Richmond , and stepson Jeff Hixon.

Lynne is survived by her husband, Barron W. Hixon, her children, Laura Christina (Edward) Turner, Milton Greg (Janet) Lucas, Lee D. Koogler and Douglas A. (Mony) Hixon, sisters, Ruthann (Carl) Sneed, Kristy Hilliard and Glenna Copeland, brother, Richard E. (Karee) Shaw Jr. grandchildren, Evan Turner, Nicholas Turner, Gunner Lucas, Gabi Lucas, Abigail Koogler, Hannah Koogler, Michael Koogler, David Hixon, Dylan Hixon, Wesley Hixon and Kathleen Hixon.

Funeral Services will be 12:00pm Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillsboro Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11:00am until time of service Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Home.
