Michael E. Massie, Sr., 67 years of Latham, passed away on Wednesday June 20, 2018.

He was born in Dayton on October 18, 1950, the son of the late Merle Massie and Betty Gill.

Michael served in the United States Army.

Michael is survived by his son, Michael Massie, Jr., daughter, April Massie, two grandchildren, Wayne and Josh Sampson, brothers, James Massie, Doug Massie, Frank Massie and Merle Massie, sister, Ronda Jones, step-mother, Mildred Massie and ex-wife, Debra Massie.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday June 30, 2018 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Washburn Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Saturday at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
