Mickey Taylor Foster, 57 years of Peebles, died Monday, December 24, 2001 at the VA Medical Center in Pittsburg, PA.
He was born in Jacksonville North Carolina on November 24, 1944 the son the late Willard and Nellie Taylor Foster.
He attended the Peebles Holiness Mission Church, was a US Navy Veteran serving in the Viet-Nam Era and member of the DAV.
He is survived by his wife Mary Sherk Foster whom he married on August 26, 1967, two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Amy Foster of Bloomingburg, Brian and Barbara Foster of Seaman, one daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Bob Wheeler of Peebles, two brothers, Bud Foster of Lawton, OK, Ted Foster of AZ, one sister,
Betty Bender of Lawton, OK and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2001 at 9:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Kenneth Bogard officiating.
Burial will follow at 12:00 Noon at the Bloomingburg Cemetery in Fayette County with Military Graveside Services.
Friends may call on Friday evening from 7:00 till 9:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
