William Michael "Mike" Dunnagan, 74 years of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021.
Mike was born June 1, 1947 in Hillsboro, the son of the late William and Martha (Thompson) Dunnagan. Beside his parents, Mike was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Earl Dunnagan.
Mike was a 1965 graduate of Hillsboro High School and had attended Southern State Community College. Mike was a member of the Ohio National Guard. Mike attended Hillsboro 1st United Methodist Church; member and Past Exalted Ruler of BPO Elks Lodge 361 Hillsboro; 50 year member of the Highland Lodge 38 F.& A.M. and a member of the Teamsters. Mike was an avid trucker driver, which he had retired from after many years driving a semi.
On July 4, 1969, Mike was united in marriage to Emilie (Loe) Dunnagan. They were blessed with two children, Pam (Mitch) Claycomb of Hillsboro and Jd Dunnagan of Hillsboro; three loving grandchildren, Peyton Deatley, Kayla Deatley, Jacob Deatley; one great grandson, Isaiah Deatley; one brother, Pat Dunnagan; several cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Dr. Pastor Derek Russell will officiate with burial to follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites.
Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Elks Services will be held at 7:00 P.M.
