Mildred Chamblin, 76 years of Peebles, died Friday, March 19, 2004 at the Blue Ash Hospice of Cincinnati.
She was born in Scioto County, Ohio on March 18, 1928 the daughter of the late Douglas and Maude Kidder Stump.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, Elmer, John W., Albert, Joseph and Leroy Stump, three sisters, Berta Conschafsky, Mary White and Flossie White.
She is survived by four brothers, Ed Stump of Portsmouth, Junior Stump of Chicago, Carey Stump of Hillsboro, David Stump of Sabina, one sister, Martha Smith of Lucasville, one niece Faye Conley of Peebles. one great nephew, Dennis Carolyn Conley of Otway, two great nieces, Shirley Hubert Gilpin of Peebles, Kathy David Turner of Peebles, several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Rev. Pete Francis officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. till time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
