Mildred Chandler, 89 years of West Union, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at the Villa Georgetown.
She was born in McMinnville, Tennessee on March 24, 1914 the daughter of the late Samuel Edgar and Cynthia Anna Riffle Foster.
She was a member of the Cherry Fork Presbyterian Church, Legion Auxiliary-Morris Baldridge Post #503, and the Women?s Missionary Society. She was a former member of the OES of Winchester.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, John McClung in 1960, second husband, Robert Chandler in 1990, three brothers, Leslie Foster, Herbert Foster, and Bob Foster, and one sister, Mary Belle Satterfield.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dixie and Keith Baldridge of Cherry Fork, two granddaughters, Kim Doug McClellen, Dinah Greg Carroll, four great grandchildren, Brandon McClellan, Chelsey Carroll, Hillary Carroll, Sheridan Carroll, sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Ralph Wolfe of Winchester, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Allan Hamann officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
