Mildred Irene Humphrey, 89 years of Sinking Spring died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at her daughter's residence in Kirkland, AZ.
Irene was born September 3, 1926 in Springfield, OH., the daughter of the late Clarence W. and Lula I. (Clary) Zile. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gail S. Humphrey on July 14, 2014; one son Gail Richard Humphrey; two sisters, Doris McElwee and Genevieve Elliott.
Irene was a member of the Sinking Spring Community Church and the Hillsboro Chapter #441 O.E.S.
Irene is survived by one daughter Sherry Dianne (Charles) Morrison of Kirkland, AZ., one son Michael Ray (Cindy) Humphrey of Whittman, AZ.; two brothers, Clarence "Sonny" (Kathleen) Zile of Sinking Spring and John (Marie) Zile of GA.; one sister Mary Lou Hanson of West Union, OH.; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday January 13, 2016 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at the funeral home. Eastern Star Services will begin at 8:00 P.M.
