Mildred Short, 81 years of Villa Hills, KY, died Monday, December 10, 2007 at her residence.
She was born in Winchester, Ohio on July 19, 1926 the daughter of the late Elvis and Grace Swearingen Foster.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Lee Short in 1996, one son Charles Wayne Short, and six brothers.
Mildred was a graduate of Winchester High School.
She is survived by two sons & daughter-in-law Michael & Carolyn Short of Versailles, KY, and Robert M. Short of Villa Hills, KY. One brother & sister-in-law Gerald & Carol Foster of Winchester, OH. One sister & brother-in-law Sandy & Wally Wainscott of Williamsburg, OH. Three grandchildren Charles Shane Tonya Short, Julie Ann Joshua Varelmann, Erin Michelle Short. Two great grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend & caretaker Lisa Magee of Ludlow, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester, OH with David Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home.
