Millie J. Ritchie, 63 years of Peebles, died Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
She was born in West Union, Ohio on May 11, 1940 the daughter of the late James and Dora Armstrong Evans.
She was a member of the Scrub Ridge Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Chance Ritchie, who passed away on January 30, 1991.
She is survived by four sons and daughter-in-law, George and Karen Hanshaw of Williamsburg, Robert Hanshaw of Seaman, Arthur Hanshaw, Jr. of Seaman, Harland Hanshaw of Chillicothe, three daughters and son-in-law, Shirley Muncy of Peebles, Rose Hanshaw of Peebles, Paula and Tim Fulk of Wheelersburg, two sisters and brother-in-law, Marjorie McCane of Peebles, Alene and Jim Schuwerk of Fairborn, seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 5, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Volley Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
