Minnie Ruth Malone transitioned from her life on this earth to her eternal life with Jesus the morning of June 25, 2014.
Ruth was born on December 04, 1927 in Flint, MI. to the late Wilber and Lillian Thatcher Younker.
Ruth was united in marriage to the love of her life William Russell "Russ" Malone on October 17, 1945.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son Robert Malone, son-in-law Vernon Nace, brother Clyde Younker and sister Edith Storey.
She is survived by her daughters Barbara Nace of Latham, OH. and Nancy Roger Holden of Blanchester, OH.; her sons Larry Rebecca Malone of Camp Creek, OH. and Terry Betty Malone of Chillicothe, OH; daughter-in-law Joyce Malone of Latham, OH.; her grandchildren Beth Anne Bob Farmer, Amanda Malone, Sarah Holden, Jason Samantha Malone, Nathan Malone, William "Billy" Malone, Lorie Malone, Jeremy Malone; her great grandchildren Tera Sue Malone, Adam Farmer, Jacob Farmer, Joshua Farmer, Mason Malone; sisters Edna Wesley and Beverly Hackworth; sisters-in-law Mary Malone Miller and Berniece Malone; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Ruth was a beloved and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend and follower of Christ. Granny Ruth as she was known by many loved by all and loved everyone. She was quite a talented lady. She was a great cook, seamstress, poet, singer, songwriter and crafts woman. She was always happy to cook you a meal, crochet house slippers for anyone who asked and most of all pray with you and tell you about her Savior. Her hugs and smooches will be greatly missed!
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Latham Christian Union Church, Roxie Road, Latham, OH., with Rev. Bobby Porter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Washburn Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the church.
