Minnie E. Witt, 100 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at her residence.
She was born in Jefferson County, Kentucky on February 5, 1907 the daughter of the late Henry and Addie May Brumley Miller.
She worked for Wilkin Heating and Air Conditioning. She was a member and former president of the Garden Club, and a member of Women?s Club.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Witt, Sr., who passed away in 1970, and four sisters.
She is survived by her son, James E. Witt, Jr. of Melbourne, Florida, daughter, Mary Ann Mitchell of Murray, Kentucky, five grandchildren, Tamara, Randi, Elizabeth, Michael, and James C., and nine great grandchildren.
It was Mrs. Witt?s request that there be no visitation or funeral service.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Resthaven Memorial Park and Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
